What we're doing

Most people put up invisible barriers between themselves and making music.

Politeness. False preconceptions about needing training. Simply not knowing how to start. Musical Mycology dismantles those barriers by wrapping music-making in something enchanting and unintimidating: mushrooms.

Lightweight, modular, and targeted at large gatherings.

The core technology we are developing is well suited to quest systems and light interactions with large groups. Bundled up properly, this allows us to share an app that can serve as a gateway to richer more musical experiences. Also, it makes us commercially viable, which is a nice thing to be.

Installations

Custom experiences for location based entertainment.

Deployed to children’s museums, themeparks, and other destination experiences, these custom installations provide a vast array of interaction methods and inputs that can be led by a musician, or experienced as a group.

Performances

Education and community outreach

Smaller, portable deployments of the technology that can be taken into schools, community centers, and public performances. Additionally, the base systems can be used in music education by teachers looking to expand how their students can interact with music.
