Musical Mycology Foundation

The non-profit arm of Musical Mycology.

Grant-funded school programming, community residencies, and free public performances. The Foundation does not generate commercial revenue — it operates on grants and individual giving so the school and community work can be sustained independently of the commercial pipeline.

What we do

Three programs.

School assemblies

K–8 programs that bring Tune Shrooms and Bits to schools that wouldn't otherwise have access to participatory music programming. Foundation funding underwrites the cost in Title I and rural districts.

Community residencies

Multi-day residencies at libraries, community centers, and festivals. New Bits authored on-site with the participating community.

Free public performances

Drop-in performances at parks, museums, and public events — no ticket required. The "find magic in mushrooms" promise carried as far as it can go.

Status

Where the Foundation is right now.

  • 501c3 filing: in progress.
  • Grants pipeline: $200K+ in identified opportunities, applications drafting.
  • First school deployment: 2027.

Stay in the loop

Foundation updates as they happen.

School pilots, grant news, residency announcements. No marketing email — just updates when something real happens.
